The Woman Behind the Tile

Kim is a self taught potter and tile maker.  In addition, she has a background in Interior Design, Architecture and Art Education.  While working with a client on a large kitchen remodel in the early 2000‘s, the client could not find ‘that perfect tile’ and asked Kim to create custom tile for her kitchen. It was at that point, a dream was born.

That dream Kim had almost 20 years ago came to life in 2016 when she founded Clay Daisies Tile Company. Hand making each tile in her home studio, Kim has built up a beautiful collection of custom handmade artisan tile that is sustainably crafted, and designed to stand the test of time both aesthetically and structurally.

Clay Daisies Tile is truly a handmade artisan tile collection that offers an extensive color palette and countless shapes in a variety of sizes. Along with creating her collection, Kim finds great joy in working with clients to design custom patterns and styles that are truly one of a kind. Working closely with homeowners, designers and architects, Kim navigates them through the process of seeing their own vision come to life.
